Comprehensive and Powerful
CIRCLY 7.0 is a powerful, user-friendly, Windows-based package for mechanistic pavement design and analysis.
This Australian designed system has been in regular use World-wide for more than two decades proving its worth in thousands of design applications.
Since 1987 it has been part of the Austroads Pavement Design Guide, the standard for road design in Australia and New Zealand.
CIRCLY 7.0Visio electrical engineering stencil downloads. uses a rigorous flexible pavement design approach. It uses state-of-the-art pavement material properties and performance models. It calculates the cumulative damage induced by the traffic spectrum.
CIRCLY 7.0 gives Reduced Asphalt Thickness for Heavy-Duty Structures
Revolution slider jquery plugin download. The following graph illustrates the considerable reduction in Asphalt thickness for pavements at higher traffic loads designed with CIRCLY 7.0 (using the Austroads 2017 Design Method), compared to CIRCLY 6.0 (using the Austroads 2004-12 Design Method).
This leads to reduced material and construction costs.

The Austroads Pavement Structural Design Guide has undergone a major revision that was released in December 2017.
The major change is how the details of the Traffic Load Distribution (TLD) are used as design inputs. The Traffic Load Distribution consists of the frequency distribution of Axle Group Loads.
Here’s an example of CIRCLY 7.0‘s Traffic Load Distribution screen:
You can upgrade to CIRCLY 7.0 – at no extra cost if you have a current CIRCLY Annual Subscription.
Easy to Use
Defining Inputs
Pavement and loading databases save re-keying information. You can define your own material properties and loadings.
Viewing the Results
CIRCLY 7.0 generates graphs that show the damage factor across the pavement. CIRCLY 7.0 can also generate graphs of any component of displacement, strain or stress in two-dimensional or three-dimensional form.

Automatic Thickness Design capability – determine the optimum thickness of a given layer in a fraction of a second on any PC.
Simultaneous calculation of the damage factor for all layers with a performance model.
A Parametric Analysis feature can loop through a range of thicknesses for one or two layers while simultaneously designing the thickness of another layer. This feature will optimise up to three layers. The Cost Analysis feature lets you fine-tune layer thicknesses to lower construction and maintenance costs.

Alternative design systems for Heavy Duty Pavements
A special design system, APSDS (Airport Pavement Structural Design System) is for airport pavements. It is based on the CIRCLY system and has been enhanced for design of airport pavements.
HIPAVE (Heavy Industrial PAVEment design) is software for design of flexible pavements in facilities such as intermodal container terminals and yards. HIPAVE Digital performer 9 mac torrent. models the extremely heavy loads from vehicles such as mast lifts, reach stackers, straddle carriers etc.

We recently published an article that explains why road design methods are not appropriate for the heavy loadings at airports and container terminals. Road design methods can give grossly under-designed pavements.

The Flexible Pavement Design Module of the ESurvey Trans Software is useful for
BBD, VDF, MSA Analysis
Design Pavement Thickness depending on BBD, VDF & MSA data
Saving considerable time for Interpolating values from IRC Charts
This module serves as a complete package for design of flexible Pavement thicknesses. It mainly caters and follows the guidelines as specified in Relevant Indian Road Congress (IRC) Codes. Wch ch351l parallel port driver full win. This module can be used as a comprehensive analysis of BBD (Benkelman beam deflection), VDF (Vehicle Damage Factor) and MSA (Million standard axles) and then derive the thickness of design layers like Base, Sub base, and structural layers which includes BC(Bituminous Concrete), DBM(Dense bituminous macadam), BM( Bituminous macadam), WMM(Wet mix macadam), GSB (Granular Sub base) etc. Minecraft for mac full version for free.
This module also caters for individual field study requirements like BBD studies alone. The relevant IRC: 81-1997 has been adopted for the analysis. Antigone jean anouilh translated barbara bray pdf printer. When it comes for a comprehensive solution then IRC: 37-2012 is adopted along with IRC:81-1997.
Benefits
1. This module is a one stop solution for BBD, VDF, MSA analysis and generating the final thicknesses of the design layers as per the requirement.
2. It drastically reduces the pain of reading the curves in IRC 81 for Moisture content (%) on X-Axis and Moisture Correction factor on the Y-Axis. It also saves the time considerably and also avoids most of the manual errors which could creep in by reading different figures for different rainfall and soil conditions.
3. It considers all the class of vehicles including tandem axles, tridem axles and multi axles as per the Indian Standards.
Flexible Pavement Design Help
PAVEMENT DESIGN –Overlay Design / Reconstruction
Pavement design module of ESurvey Civil Tools helps you to compute the thickness of various Pavement compositions in both Overlay Design Projects and Reconstruction/New Projects.
In this help, complete procedure is explained in the following 5 Topics. (Reference: irc.gov.in.037.2012)
● Creating a new pavement design file ● Settings ● Calculate Characteristic Deflection by Importing surveyed data ● Calculate MSA (Million standard axles) and VDF (Vehicle damage factor) by Importing Traffic survey data and Axle load survey. ● Final Computation of pavement layers. For Flexible Pavement Design, you need to first create a new file and update settings.
Create a New File
To create a new file, in theFile menu, click New File.
In the window that opens, Enter the name of the file and click Save.
Settings
To update settings, in the Main menu, click Settings.
In the window that opens, enter General settings in General Tab.
Flexible Pavement Design Pdf
Enter the Project Name, Year of Survey, Proposed Completion Year and Default Traffic Growth (%) and click Save.
Enter details of theHomogeneous Sections.
Note: Homogeneous sections are identified based on the reconnaissance survey and Road Inventory surveys based on the condition of the existing pavement. This survey is done mainly to identify the sections where BBD surveys are to be conducted.
Click Homogenous Sections Tab. List all section ranges for Overlay and New Construction Segments and Click Save to save the details.
Click VDF and MSA Tab. Enter values for line Distribution Factor, Dir. Distribution Factor, No. Of years for MSA Calculation and Minimum VDF and Click Save to save the details.
Computation of Pavement Layers
For Flexible Pavement Design, you have to Calculate Characteristic Deflection and MSA (Million standard axles) and VDF (Vehicle damage factor) by Importing surveyed data and then compute the pavement layers.
Flexible Pavement Design Manual
In Main menu, click Flexible Pavement Design.
In the window that opens, you can design the pavement for Overlay Design or Reconstruction or both.
In Overlay Design Group, Select the Homogenous Section. Here, you can either provide the Characteristic Deflection and MSA Values manually, or derive it from the software.
To derive the BBD values from Software, you can click the BBD button, and in the window that opens, enter the Inputdetails and obtain the Characteristic Deflection as explained in the BBD Module Help Section
Similarly, to obtain the MSA values from Software, you can click MSA/VDF button, and in the window that opens, enter the details for Direction 1 and Direction 2 and obtain the MSA values as explained in the MSA/VDF Module Help Section.
To enter the values manually, check the checkboxes for Manual Characteristic Deflection andManual MSA value, and enter the values. Next, click Calculate.
You can see the result for Overlay Design in the Output Section.
For Reconstruction of Pavement, in the ReconstructionGroup, select the Homogenous Section. Enter the CBR value. You can either use the computed MSA/VDF valueor enter the value manually. Select the Pavement Composition. Click Calculate.
The results of the pavement layer thicknesses are displayed as per IRC. Equivalence factors are not included in the package and are given in terms of BM for structural layers.
